Home Again

We're finally back in Chicago which is much warmer than we were expecting. A good thing too since our warm clothes which were packed in our suitcases are somewhere between Atlanta and Chicago having gone astray on our return trip. The return trip turned sour after getting through customs and immigration in Atlanta. The scheduled flight was cancelled due to mechanical reasons (someone deployed an emergency escape chute on an exit door). Our rebooked flight was delayed both prior to boarding and then again prior to take-off so much that they decided to screen a movie. Still happy to be home after the very long haul around the globe and very sad that our trip to SA has come to an end. Could have gone for three more weeks of the same.

Unlucky....Hope all has sorted itself out about the luggage. I feel your pain, England seems even more grey than it was before we left. Still, summer is coming to the Northern Hemisphere..all 2 weeks of it.

Steve
