He's happy with his progress, and that's what counts, right? I'm sure he's just waiting until he's good and ready. Enjoy the fact that he stays in the general vicinity of where you leave him, 'cos that won't last long, and then everything changes. :-)
Despite the temptation to fret over your baby and worry that he's not up to snuff, rest assurred that not only is everybody different but everybody does it in their own way.
I think it's wonderful that Danny is showing you that he's so confident and capable that he needn't rush through things, at all.
Such a great teacher, kids.
